Chrysler Museum of Art - Norfolk, USA
The Chrysler Museum of Art was originally founded in 1939 in Norfolk, Virginia as the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences. In 1971, Walter P. Chrysler (whose wife was native to Norfolk) donated his collection to the museum, on the stipulation that the museum be renamed in his honor.
The museum sits on a small body of water known as The Hague in the Ghent section of Norfolk, Virginia. It has had extensive renovations to the entrance, giving it a more classical look.
